I received a photo of a well loved Beaver Creek Cabins & Guide Service baseball cap this past week from my friend, George French. It’s a nice reminder of how long Jane and I have known him.
He asked, “ Is this under warranty?”
I told him, “Nope, but I bet you could make a buck on EBay.”
I asked George for permission to use his photo. You see, I was in desperate need of a blog topic and his beat up baseball cap was the inspiration I needed.
His response to my ask was “It’ll cost you $.27”.
Never trust a man from LA (Lower Alabama, Chipley Florida to be precise).
George, thanks for staying in touch with us, especially during the offseason. See you when the snow has melted…we’ll settle up on the royalty fees for using your photo then!
