I have to give credit where credit is due.  My favorite waders/outdoor clothing company, Simms, put the expression “United We Fish” on a t-shirt.

Not only is this a catchy phrase, but Simms decided to donate a portion of the sales to the preservation and protection of the Gallatin River near Bozeman, Montana.  In addition to great products, they are responsible corporate citizen as well.

We all know United We Fish is derivative of the historic motto, united we stand, divided we fall.

That begs the question. How should Simms complete their motto, United We Fish? 

Here are my top 5 suggestions.

  1. Divided we are skunked. 
  2. Divided it’s just a nice boat ride. 
  3. Divided we slip on a mossy rock and fall in the river.
  4. Divided we go hungry.
  5. Divided we go to Louie’s for a steak dinner.
