Last week I blogged about family.
This week I’m blogging about another family.
My Beaver Creek family.
June 10th is my birthday and a year ago Jane put together a homemade pizza party for the neighborhood. It was a fun day and enjoyable to spend time with friends.
I kind of thought it was a one year deal, but this spring several neighbors asked if we were going to do it again. Well, I’m more of a fan of eating pizza than I am at celebrating a birthday so, what the heck, why not?
Thanks for coming over Ron, MJ, Rusty, Will, Becky, Brenda, Bill, Greg, Jenny, Mack, Carol, Dave, Dan, and Nick.
Speaking of Nick, on Saturday the Kenai Peninsula Harley-Davidson in Soldotna hosted an auto show.
It’s a chance for the general public to see a wide array of beautiful cars, trucks, and motorcycles from our area.
Last year was the first year Nick entered his car in this event. As a rookie he walked away winning trophies for Best Hot Rod, and even more impressive, Best In Show. This year, he entered again and defended his titles. Way to go neighbor! I look forward to seeing you and your car at the next event, the 4th of July parade in Kenai.
I’ll end on this. Today is Father’s Day and I’d be remiss not to acknowledge it. Enjoy the day, everybody! I know I will.
