Blinn Week #2 is now in the books.
It was a wet and fishy week for the crew. Based on the smiles in the photos, no one seemed to mind the less than ideal conditions.

First up was Don, John, Campbell, and Justin. Silvers, reds, and pinks made their way to the fish box and on to the processor. A great way to start out an awesome week of Alaska fishing adventures.

On Tuesday, Jerry, Kyle, Kevin, and Jared limited out on silvers. If you’re wondering why there are only 6 fish in the photo, 2 silvers were caught and brought to the processor when we took a mid morning break to warm up (and to dry off).

It was a fast morning with Steve, Dennis, Tony, and Annalisa. Mythbuster Steve proved it wasn’t the yellow rain pants that has brought him good luck throughout the years.
On Thursday, Gary Blinn, Jo Ray, JD, and Easton caught their limit of silver salmon. We’ve had a lot of rain the past couple of weeks which has made the river high and muddy. That combination usually means slow fishing. It’s been just the opposite.

On Friday, Team Texas had no problem getting their limit of silver salmon. Steve and Allen are standing in the back, while Sue and Cindy are kneeling. Great job, guys!

What a perfect way to end the week. Virtually no rain for the day, and Dale (who I like to call Darrel), Joy, and their friends Curtis and Brenda were in the boat. The fishing wasn’t fast, but the conversations and attitudes sure made up for it. I sure enjoyed my time with y’all. See you guys next year!
The week ahead will be Blinn Week #3. A lot of the “old guard” will be here and I look forward to it.
See you next week.
