I was able to get out fishing three times this past week.
Once with my neighbor and two times with fellow guide Boo, who was also done working for the season.
I spent one day fishing the lower river and two days fishing the middle river. The lower river is where I spend my season guiding so trailering a boat to the middle river is a special fishing adventure for me. I get excited for new scenery and different gear and techniques to catch silver salmon. I also enjoy swapping stories with Boo as well.

One of the things that I like about fall fishing in the middle river is getting out of the boat to sight fish for silvers. Boo and I saw plenty of fish over the two days, but couldn’t find a lure that they wanted.
“It’s just good to be out” is the phrase that aptly described my time fishing.

Since I don’t have fish photos to share, it’s time to roll out the moose photos. It was a very good week to see moose.

See you next week!

That’s A Wrap.
