Okay. I admit it. That looks miserable. That’s Audria Bloch hunkered down on the boat ride to one of my secret silver salmon spots this past September.
I like fishing the Kenai any time I can, but September is my favorite month. Why you ask? Less anglers, and more fishing action. What’s not to like about that?
But, September fishing is not for everybody. It’s getting darker, colder, and it’s the second wettest month of the year (August is number 1).
As you can see in the photo below, Audria had no problem fishing in these conditions. Does that look like the face of an unhappy angler?
