Tony “Famous” Davis, the owner of Kodiak Custom Lures, loves to fish and loves to have fun while doing it. If you don’t believe me, just watch the ice fishing video below.
The second video is about a special ice fishing beer brewed at St. Elias Brewing in Soldotna. It features the crazy antics of Famous Davis, and Zach The Brewer. By the way, the name “deadstick” is an ice fishing term and it refers to an unattended set line with bait on the business end of it. It sits motionless, unlike an actively jigged rod and reel.
For the record, you may think I fish a lot in the summer, but I actually fish more in winter. I rarely blog about it because ice fishing is strictly recreational for me. It gives me a chance to recharge my batteries and it gets me excited for the upcoming summer season.
