Pictured above is the last silver salmon caught in my boat for 2022. There are still a few diehards fishing the lower river, but for me, the season is done.
Fishing the river wasn’t the only angling I did this past week. I worked in a halibut trip too.

I got a last minute call from Boo of Tall Tale Charters asking if I wanted to go fishing and help get his boat out for the season. Since I hadn’t fished the ocean all year, I was eager to go.

For the week ahead, I have no fishing plans whatsoever. I need to finish winterizing things and then take the dock out. When the dock is out, it’s officially the end of the season. It’s always a little bit sad when that happens.
